Roc Herms

Born in Barcelona in 1978, Roc Herms works as a freelance in the fields of design, advertising photography, and photojournalism. He began working at the advertising agency DDB Barcelona (2004-2007) before embarking on a career as a photographer. In 2009, he won the "Hey, hot shot!" award from the Jen Beckman Gallery in New York. In 2013, he exhibited the project "Postcards from Home" at From Here On. From now on. Post-photography in the era of the Internet and mobile telephony at the Santa Mònica Arts Center. Also, in 2014, he presented the exhibition "At a Glance, recent photographic visual culture in Barcelona" at the Virreina and participated with the installation "Desktop Portraits" in the exhibition Photography 2.0 curated by Joan Fontcuberta in the official section of Photoespaña at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid.
